My story…
Before setting up my editorial business, I served for over 13 years in the Royal Air Force. And I bring that same military precision to my clients, going above and beyond to get the job done with attention to detail and efficiency. It may not be the most conventional route into editing, but for me it made perfect sense. I’m able to use some of the skills I developed in the Armed Forces and still get my language fix every day – it’s my dream job!

Experience copy editing and proofreading over 80 publications for British and international publishing houses and independent writers, covering a range of genres from self-help to military history.
Extensive experience helping businesses and entrepreneurs craft clear and coherent client communications, including blog posts, white papers and website copy.
First-class degree in modern language studies and currently studying part-time for an MA in applied linguistics at the University of Nottingham.
As a Professional Member of the CIEP, I adhere to their code of professional conduct and undertake regular continuing professional development to ensure my editing skills stay up-to-date and relevant.
My daily weapons of choice are yoga, liquid eyeliner and really good coffee (black, no sugar − in case you’re asking!).
